Then I do the important bits - the eyes first where they are open, always the face first. Then I work from the top down, darker colours first, lighter colours next to them and then blending them together. Finally I do the background using bright contrasting colours that will push the subject forward. At the very end I sign it! I hope you enjoyed this demonstration.
